Today the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC) and Openet finalised a formal partnership agreement.
AMEC is the peak industry representative body for mineral exploration and mining companies throughout Australia with offices in Perth, Brisbane and Sydney. Openet is an information technology and communications consultancy with offices in Perth and Kalgoorlie whose purpose is to connect people and information through technology.
Under the terms of the agreement, Openet will offer fellow AMEC members a 10% discount on their first year of IT Comprehensive Operational Support Services and a 50% discount on IT Audits. This adds significant value to AMEC membership.
Openet will also provide Comprehensive Operational Support Services to the association ensuring it can focus on its core mission of representing the exploration and mining sector.
Openet's Managing Director, Andrew Monteiro, said
"Being a member of AMEC provides an opportunity for Openet give back to the industry that supports our business. It is also a great way to keep in contact with friends in the industry and make new contacts."
Openet has been a sponsor of the annual AMEC Convention since 2012 and is a sponsor again this year. This new partnership allows Openet to take its support for the association and resources industry to a new level.
If you represent a company engaged in mineral exploration or mining contact Openet to take advantage of this exclusive AMEC member benefit.
